She writes a column for The Korea Times, South Korea’s longest-running English-language daily. You can find her essays and criticism on books and foods in The Guardian, The Nation, The White Review, Modern Farmer, and The Infatuation, among many others. She also writes and edits branded content for global clients.

Born in Yonkers and raised in New York, Esther is a traveler and heirloom bean enthusiast. She regularly volunteered with New York City’s Girls Write Now, the very mentorship scheme that nurtured her teenage ambitions, and she likes cycling through her city and spending time with friends and family.
